We help our students reach new heights by offering National performing opportunities! Our students have performed for Carnival Cruise Lines, Marched in the 100th Annual King Kamehameha Floral Day Parade in Honolulu, Hawaii, performed in the Florida Citrus Bowl's All American Half-Time Show, Featured with ESP Productions for the Capital Onel Bowl in Orlando, FL Live on ABC and ESPN for Millions of viewers on New Year's Day in 2001, 2004, 2007, 2009 and 2011. All students are welcome and encouraged to audition for National Performance Opportunities.
Sterling Silver Studio has become known as the "Must See" performance group in parades throughout the region. Easily recognized in the red, black and silver uniforms, with flaming batons, energized dancers and "foot-stomping, hand-clapping, can't stay in your seat" music thumping throughout the parade, Sterling Silver Studio is always a crowd pleaser! Sterling Silver Studio performs in numerous parades throughout the Northern Region of the United States and parts of Canada each year. Parades are open to all students of all ages.
Performing Arts Company (PAC)
The Performing Arts Company at Sterling Silver is a group of students who attend competitions locally and nationally and perform at special events througout the year. Our PAC students have received thousands of awards, held numerous State Champion titles and have gained National Recognition. Our PAC students have performed and competed in Honolulu, Hawaii; San Antonio, Texas; America's Youth on Parade at the University of Notre Dame; Thunder Bay, Ontario and throughout the Northern Region of the United States. Students of all ages are welcome to audition for a position with the Performing Arts Company each summer.
At Steling Silver Studio, we love giving all or our students the opportunity to perform! We believe that performance opportunities play a key role in helping students develop their talents, build their self-confidence and make their dreams come true!
Sterling Silver Studio offers local and national performance opportunities for students. Each year we offer three annual recitals.
- The "Summer Spectacular" takes place at the end of August on the outdoor stage at Barker's Island in Superior during the Lake Superior Dragon Boat Festival. This recital showcases our summer semester students. Bring a blanket or a lawn chair and celebrate summer and the beautiful surroundings that Lake Superior has to offer!
- Our "Holidazzle" performances take place during the winter holiday seasons and give students the opportunity to show family and friends what they have learned in the fall semester (Sept. to Dec.) The "Holidazzle" show is fun, whimsical and light hearted.
- Our annual Spring recital is held at the DECC auditorium. This performance gives students the opportunity to showcase their talents in a professional theatre setting. The spring recital is held at the end of the spring semester and is the finale to our complete season.
